RE: I have a very strong recommendation, but it is not local...

Figured out how to import your Qobuz playlist via ROON. I'll give a closer listen when the house is empty, but,

Chant's dAuvergne and Flicka! Kind of a local girl. I had no idea there was another recording of that other than Gens, who at least in this selection is much darker. Criminally underrated pieces.

And Frank. My go to Frank is In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning. There's a pause in that song that just hits, it's just craftsmanship. What happened to that Frank?

I've been trying to pick my Mahler 2. My favorite PERFORMANCE is Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Orchestra (I think by that time they were no longer yout's) from a BBC Proms concert. Somehow, and I have no idea how I did it, I stripped the audio from the video and have it saved. Not the greatest sound, but oh the performance. With Miah Persson and Anna Larsson. Maybe I'll use that as Jack's suggestion for "a not great recording". Link below, I'll share it every time I can. The immediate transition from Ulricht to the finale is POWER, and the tears at the end! Oh, and I could stare at Miah Persson all day and night.
