It simply a 1 cubic foot box running 4 ohm woofer full range , a cap only on tweeter.
Several GRS , Pioneer and couple Daytons available would do decent and no doubt with all the 4 ohm car Audio Units available bound to find a number that fit that box.
Good number of tweeters could handle the cap only type crossover and out perform the original.
But there would be some messing and different presentation over the originals.
With a number of companies putting out "MidCentury looking model redos" (JBL. KLH. Mission, PSB...-), restuffing/updating these vintage units has been a growing trend. But prices of decent exterior vintages are going up
