RE: Amp for KEF 104AB?

Many years since I had the 104.
They are not hard to drive.
I ran mine with two amps that I remember.
1. was A NAD7250pe.
2. was an EL34 Valve amp from Affordable Valve Company.
Of the two I liked the SS NAD better with them, more drive and control, overall presence and timing, it was the slightly more powerful at about 50W.
Actually I loved that amp. I went to look at a Naim 140 with a 62 Pre one evening.
The guy had various bits he was clearing out, I ended up buying the NAD over the Naim when I listened to them side by side, it had more life to it.
