You bring back grand old memories with the Pipe Dreams. I was best pals with the designers and hung with them for hours a week. So I'm pretty i ntimately functionally familiar with them and how they work and their evolution from the early examples to the final production. There was significant change in the mid and tweeter drivers although the concept stayed steady.

By the way there were some similar 3 way line sources in the 70s from McIntosh that utilized the same bass loading as the Pipe Dreams.
