Neat Acoustics Ministra Mini-Monitors

Hi All,

As I just posted this into the review section, to where it might go unseen | I merely wanted to add it here as well.

Being as how I've only felt the need to write about one pair of speakers | like ever, I simply felt duty bound to put fingers to screen and give them the justification they've always deserved ( at least to my mind ) having owned the original Neat Acoustics Petite's back in 1995, as an alternative to my then beloved Rogers LS 3/5As | ProAc Tablette MK ll's | Linn Kan 2s, being what many seemingly term Brit-Fi, of which I've loved and valued sonically speaking since coming into our shared hobby in 1979.

And while I've owned to date all of 34 pairs of said mini-monitors, which can more or less be found in my inmate system section, which hints on my fondness | preference towards the small ones, and have only owned domestic makes from the likes of DeVore Fidelity | if one wishes to count a pair of Totem Acoustics Model 1s ( the original version ) as domestically made?, seeming as Canada is in fact seen as North America, it seems I've remained firmly stuck to my roots | humble beginnings in said types, as I've heard both their Iota | Iota Alpha speakers in my home, yet it appears this brand slipped my mind completely | around January of last year when I found myself investing in an essentially $6200 little pair of Italian speakers which sort of impressed me with what I heard as the very very best extension top end wise, I had ever encountered from a soft dome tweeter, yet over time it seems as if in the back of my mind, it kept coming back around to what might've ( should've ) been in pursuing said brand.

And in hindsight, upon the second listen | it all came back to me as to why I've found my way home..., admittedly going full circle in said quest for a sense of enlightenment | all this to say I've never understood why others haven't written about this brand, or even the ones made by Kudos Audio, which were essentially a bunch of guys whom used to work within the Neat Acoustics foundation, whom went out on their own, so let's just say here I'm in the here | now simply endorsing this brand ( model ) for what after all these years, I merely see ( better yet ) hear as the one model I wish to have buried beside me | my wife ( please don't tell her, as these will be laid between us to my right hand side ) but to say in all honesty I've never | ever found myself so engaging to a sense of balance | wonderfully textured mid-bass which rumbles across the floor like a fog coming from out of nowhere | as it's isobaric woofers are crossed over in such away with the true ribbon tweeters, to which merely have captured not only my imagination | but simply put reaches deeper into my very core in a manner to which I've never experienced like this before.

The sense of layering of notes is in itself a first for me | in so much as to honestly say, they merely sound | feel right in how I've found myself listening, and all of a sudden looking up at the time | to where I've spent a total of 12-14 hours just being drawn into their beauty, I realize it's time to call it a day ( night | morning ) and go lay beside my beautiful wife, and focus upon listening to her gentle | graceful purr, in this life..., as short as it is, I believe there's nothing more important than having one's system | soul mate to travel with us, through both the good and bad times.

As I've viewed it over the course of the last 14 years | life in itself shouldn't be taken for granted | nor should we continue to settle when it comes to our systems, as I think ( in my case at least ) I'd far rather enjoy some of the luxuries in life | while I'm still on the right side of the dirt.

Live it | Learn it | Love it..., " Life that is ".
