As I stand 6' 6" tall, my stated ear levels as measured from an average 16" high sofa location puts them directly between the tweeters at said 29.5" - 31.5" overall height, and once the stands are placed atop a 2.5" diameter x 2" high disc coupler which is embedded into our carpeted flooring works out just right...-, anything shorter like the one sizes fits all commonly found 24-28" high stands never fit the bill.
