RE: Thoughts on describing distortion in loudspeakers?

A few things. First, JGH was reporting on the original Advents whereas Reina was reporting on the smaller Advents - different speakers. Second, as E-Stat mentions, they were reporting on new speakers (JGH) vs. 30 year old speakers (Reina). Third, there have been additions to the vocabulary for describing sonic differences between when Holt wrote his review and when Reina wrote his. Remember when Holt wrote his review he was practically the only one who was doing subjective reviewing (TAS started up after the Advent review, in fact one of the early issues had a report on Double Advents).
