I checked several posting boards and most said there was nothing on the woofer. I personally listened with 1-10uf caps and several low mH coils kicking around. The best sound to my ears, and this is by ear, was the 5uf cap. Any lower the sound became sharp, edgy and almost tinny. To high and or with a coil muffled out some of the midrange and upper frequencies. So depending on room type I would vary the baffling and lower the cap value 2 or 3uf to suit the user.I'm very happy with the sound, very smooth with wonderful range. With the woofer centered and the tweeter next to it I can't tell where the woofer ends and the tweeter kicks in.
