until I tried the same low-sensitivity speakers with higher power amps(wow) and the same low-power amps with more efficient speakers (wow). If I'd gone by the "achieves reasonable volume" test -- which the low watt amps did with the low efficiency speakers -- I still wouldn't know what I was missing.But this is just my opinion after trying it both ways. Other people might hear something different . . . but it seems a shame not to explore the alternatives, if you have access to stores or friends with the equipment, no?
