You're a Lotus sig club member too. There're very few of us. Purposely, very few were produced as the alnico magnet cost is hyper expensive I'm told. A pal who also owns a pair recently had his crossovers upgraded. He's running a Cary CAD 845 single ended stereo amp. He reports very substantial increases in low level detail, just better use of the first critical watts. Fuller soundstage at lower volume, etc. He does a lot of late night listening, so it's a big plus for him. Eventually I'll borrow his crossovers to see if it works for me. In the meantime, he's gushing.
