I just ordered the alnico midrange drivers for my Viper 1A's after
having another listen to my Alon Lotus SE mk ll's.

The Lotus SE mk ll's have been sitting silent in my HT as of late and
with the main rig down for the short term, I fired the HT up as my music
rig and had forgotten just how seductive the Lotus SE mk ll's can be!
I'm pushing the Lotus' with 50wpc EICO 2050 using 7591 output tubes and the combo is one musical powerhouse.

I'll report out on the alnico midrange drivers in the 1A's here shortly.
