Depends on which Naim amp. I had copper AN-J's a while back, and they sounded pretty good with a Nait2 and a Nait5. With other higher-powered Naim amps, the combination sounded too incisive. Not that there's anything wrong with the higher-wattage Naim, it's just that the AN-J's sounded better with the softer-sounding Nait2 or Nait5. Alternatively, you could get a refurbed Eico HF-81, and hunger pangs for an Audio Note amp might even go away.
