I've listened to the Spica TC-50 driven by a restored Eico HF-81 before, and the combination has been burned in my aural memory as one of the most musically engaging I've ever listened to, albeit the low cost of both. I got the TC-50's because of this experience, even though I have Sound Lab A-3's in my main system. Reading Art Dudley's review on the Montille has made me wonder if I should try one out. Interested to hear your experience.
