Never heard the recommended digital amp system-- used what I had.

I have Newform 645's; ribbons driven with a pair of Eico hf-86's (dual mono, NICE!) and Hafler 9506 for the woofers. This ended up being the best mix-and-match for my needs.

After months of break-in -- taught and ethereal with plenty power, but still some crossover fussiness that could benefit from dedicated EQ, or biamping.

Still, the designer's recommendation would likely be most outstanding.
