Yeah, spooky soundstage, even in less than perfect [bad] [any] rooms.

And maybe here is the really telling comment - my wife has often said that she misses them and still wishes we had those speakers - high praise indeed. I think I was depressed and went on a speaker binge at the time about 5 years ago, ended up with about 10 pair of all KINDs of speakers, and eventually had to sell some off just to make some room. Some doctor? in Arizona snapped up the pair I had for about 400 bucks if I remember right.
