I'm not particularly familiar with either of those wires/interconnects. If you have good local dealers and a good relationship with them maybe they'll let you borrow some different interconnects / speaker wire to see if you can hear a difference? My local dealers are pretty good about that.Even if it doesn't make the Quad's sound the way you like - you may find a wire that is better suited to your tastes. That's how I ended up moving away from my Black Rhodium speaker wire -> Near Sota and towards Kimber (atleast for now) on the Interconnects.
