I have the Axioms (my toy speaker) and quite like 'em.... for what they do (and at the price) they do pretty well. I also have some PMC TB1's that I think really work well. Transmission line (for bass) and can play louder than I ever want to. Another alternative might be something like the Klipsch Heresy. Always thought they were pretty unbalanced, but they are fun and do rawk.See you are in Buffalo... if you are interested in selling your Quads (not sure of the finish), let me know.
