would you laff if i suggested vintage jbl 4311 or l100s,i just recently picked up a pair in great shape and just put in new solen caps in the x-over.I'm driving them with a re-done eico st70 7591 tube amp 45 to 50 watts rms.These old jbls rock jeff,no shit!!,i now will be on the lookout for more power,mabye 1oo watts .
this is a budget system compaired to yours but it sure sounds great to me.

rock blues and jazz,and good newfi music.
