I dont have the heart to use a compressor after finding this little speaker which is working so hard to produce that loudness!There is some distortion I think but the crescendo lasted for quite some time and the speaker did quite well.I had this compared at home against PSB Alpha B1 and Klipsch B3 and found the Boston to be distinctly superior.I wonder why Boston doesnt get much publicity.

I am planning to move the system to the bedroom which is a little removed from the neighbors.My Opera CDs are waiting to be played.It was a pity my retailer did not have PSB Image B15 and Infinity P162 in stock and I was impatient.

Next week I will be taking my Mahler to my buddy's place to play it on his Joseph Audio 7 speaker driven by Plinius, a system I love.I love his single malt too.That will reveal the true story.
