From stereophile on the B1s,
"There was a degree of blur, a lack of clarity, at the lower boundary of the midrange"
"Alpha's top end sounded slightly softened overall"
"the rather veiled quality of its high frequencies. This wasn't due to a lack of energy in the top two octaves, but more a feeling that a faint veil was obscuring musical detail"
of course for the price, I would expect shortcomings but the review on the B1s seem to have more negative comments than the Atom or the Primus, with the Primus having the best review of the 3. noted that they were reviewed by different people under different environment.
I'm pretty convinced that anyone of these would probably be satisfactory for the price with their own strengths and faults. I guess i would like an opinion from the members of this forum to see which is the most well received speaker of the 3 since I could not find much info. from searching the archives.
