I think you will have to go back to vintage..at least 30 years old. older tannoys hpd/alnico seem to fit your need. I would go with 10" rather than 12" (wcich tend to have too much mid-bass bloat).
the older german speakers would fit your descriptive needs but might be harder to locate. be ready for lot of experimentation.
modern speakers like that? you might find them difficult to come by.
