I haven't seen this model, personally, however I have seen the Model 1 and 2. The speakers are so fresh that these are the first photos out. I asked and there is no limitation to the color choices, the color in the photos was the color choice for the first buyer of the first Model 3 pair. (Hey, the color isn't my first choice either, but my first color choice may not be yours either). We're all different, thankfully!Yes, Big Dave, these speakers are built for those with dedicated listening rooms. Not that there is anything wrong with that. And, some of us aren't rich and still have dedicated listening rooms, I'll add my name to that profile.
Magico Model 3's aren't going to be inexpensive, you can see that in the photos. Those appear to be the 13 inch Focal W series woofers, which are either $1800 each or $2400 each. (I'd checked at one time). The mid-range is a special handbuilt, there are only a pair or 2 a month made at this time. The tweeter, I'm not sure about, some have suggested that it appears to be the Raven Ribbon. The construction photos show care and engineering that compares to and exceedes the other great speaker manufacturers. The finish is VERY high gloss, better than 99% of the cars on the road. (Certainly better than the finish on any of my newer vehicles).
The Model 1 was good enough that I'd sold my JM Labs Utopias, the model 2 was better, and I can't wait to hear the Model 3. I have heard that they are flat to 22 Hz!!
Like I stated earlier, I can't wait to hear a pair.
