Re: high end' full range bass drivers

I've found this chart from Sound Practices to be very accurate. The length is measured from one point of the cone of the loudspeaker to its opposite on the other surface of the membrane via the edge of the baffle.
The response will roll off at 6 db per octave below that to the fs of the driver then it will drop like a rock.

The 3451 is 100 db sensitive on my baffle (it's rather odd shaped, will post a picture soon) and is used from 200 to 2.5k with a first order network to roll off the topend and I let the bottom roll off on it's own.

The Karson is a tuned resonantor/ bass reflex box. Excellent bass punch, detail and realism with great "weight" and power. As good or better than any horn loaded bass system I've heard when loaded with the PHL 5230 but much more compact. Mine still pretty big by this forums standards at 4 cubic feet for the back chamber and 2.65 for the front. Here is a link that kind of explains it:

The 2235H's are no longer in production, Used prices are around $200.00 each and they are getting pretty hard to find.
