I am currently breaking in a pair of Khorus X's. It was so bad for a while that I wanted to through the speakers off my deck.I spoke with a friend who has extensive experience with the speakers and he assured me that what I was hearing is the natural progression of the speaker breaking in. I tried pointing the speakers at each other and pumping the hell out of them, with one speaker setup with the speaker cables reversed and both covered under a very heavy blanket. It may have helped speed it up, but I cannot be sure. What I do know is, I am glad Grant prepared me for the experience. I would surely have given up on them if I did not see it through.
