a small breakthrough in Talon speaker "break-in"

Several days ago I got around to playing with the Granite Audio Bass CD (got mine from questforsound off audiogon). This CD contains individual tones from 10Hz to just over 100Hz, with tracks 10-99 corresponding to the same frequency as the track number. I have a month-old pair of Talon Ravens, which I'm driving with Aloia amps (and a Njoe Tjoeb CDP). Well, after two nights of programming the CDP with a random set of tones in the range of 10-20 Hz, there is a remarkable difference in the bass (much more definition and clarity), and vocals in the soundstage have moved forward.

I have read the posts below considering the differences between speaker and "user" break-in, but since the Talons use the same element (in my case a pair of 10" assemblies which are aligned back-to-back) for reproducing the 17-2200 Hz range, I believe that adequate break-in is absolutely essential to hear these at their best (and I'm not done yet). BTW, the kids love to watch those woofers oscillate at 10Hz!

I wonder if other Talon users have found other successful means for break-in, which nowadays should not take as long as in the past since they do much of this at the factory - dunno whether it's done to the drivers before assembly or after the speaker has been put together.
