As we all know far too well, there is a 'flavor of the month' problem in this field, which can do in good products along with the not so good. A couple of impossibly hot raves, then a return to earth, ending with a 'what's next?' Charles Houston, who is probably one of the most earnest audiophiles among us, chose Kharmas after what I am sure was a long search, so my guess is that they are very good speakers. But they probably have a particular voice, as all really good audio components do, and that voice may have lost its appeal for enough reviewers and shoppers to shove it off to the side in the great race. That a product is excellent is no guarantee of its survival. Folks have to keep voting for it. If you want to play it safe, economically - stay away from the really interesting stuff. How's that for a dumb idea!Or, buy something that knocks your socks up and then talk it up. Sing the song of your favorite gear, for its sake and for the sake of the song. People will occasionally accuse you of sleeping with the designer but if the gear's really good, screw them and have the last laugh.
