Maybe you need to clarify what you meant by "making their own drivers".
Focal, B&W, Cabasse, Tannoy to name a few, design and build their own drivers. Magico or YG, on the other hand, have at best tweaked versions of drivers that they do not build and may have only limited design input in the form of requirements. Magico and YG use Scan-Speak tweeters. Woofers on Magico are based on Morel designs, YG uses Scan Speak again.
Bill the K: Wilson uses Focal for most of their inverted dome titanium domes, they also use Scan-speak and Focal for woofers, at least for the models I know.
