Thanks for all the posts.Chris - I guess you heard them at CES and made your decision? Either that or you ordered them without auditioning?
I like the V.S. sound and want to hear them before I make a decision. Heard both the VR-4jr's and DB-99 in decent listening rooms with decent front ends. Yes, the DB-99 went lower, but I was really impressed with the VR-4jr's. Thought it was great in the highs and mids. Bass was very tight, which I like.
If the VR-4sr's give me the jr's high's and mids, nice tight bass that can go pretty low, I may have found something that will keep me happy for a long time.
I have no affiliation with VSA, I have just been really impressed with their products. Don't own any now, but I think that my change in the next 6 months.
