14watts is kinda puney for minimonitors, not terribly efficient you know. Just got my RTS3's yesterday. They do many things right, very cohesive sound, they rock fairly well but I have 200watts per channel. Piano seems to be their only weakness besides occasionally sounding muddy. Not the last word in speakers by any stretch of the imagination but for $150 they are impressive. My Ascends ($300 delivered)came in today and will be listening to them this weekend. GR P1's are $600 factory built and haven't found anyone who will answer an email to sell me a used pair cheaper. GR's AV-1 is replacing the P1 and is said to be better sounding and more foregiving with cheaper SS gear. Also want to hear the Monitor Audio Bronze 1. Won two HT multi speaker shoot outs.
