I've used a pair wiht low wattage riodes fo ryears. Theyare wonderful and you can pick up a pair fo about $2000. If you do you cna repalce eht tweters wiht the new tianiaum inverted domes form Focale whihc elimiates a slight tendecny ot ring./ You cna alos get repalcemesnt proporetarydrivers from Goldmund in Switz. Iuse modified EICO HF 60's nos EL34's about 18 watts per bloc and an ARC sp11 mk II. I have Tara decadecables and an Oracle Delphi and Benz rubyII. Teh speakers image like a champ , have an incredible coherence and undisputed fast adncleanbass. Perfect for low watage tubes and jazz or stringed music and voic. Teh bass and drum relism is over te tob and teh dynamics wiht the Eico gear is a killer. Use the Goldmud spikes and try to get them away form tehwall adn you will get a 12 by 13 soundtage and tight andclean bass an d a wonderful mid range. Good luck
