RE: It's hard to get Cornwalls for $400 these days...

Not that hard.
Right now there is a CL ad in Florida for Cornwalls with an asking price of $450. Cosmetically, they look great.

The Forte would be an okay but not great substitute and they are not as plentiful. My preference would be the original Forte over the series 2.
