RE: Please advise, 400USD speakers with good bass

I am not an expert of the speaker design aspects.I have seen it written that 2 smaller drivers are better than a bigger one but I dont know why it is so.Perhaps the crossover or certain other factors.But we do see more 2 driver speakers than a single bigger driver nowadays.

Our Asylum is teeming with experts of design who would be able to enlighten us on this interesting question.Sorry I am not of much help.
