Wasn't sure if this belonged in the "vintage" section but...Someone I communicate with on one of the other audio forums is offering to sell me some restored AR-9s.
One question is, if I do decide to buy them, how much is too much for these?
Secondly, I've only heard rumors about these, but I've never actually heard them. Some say they are among the best speakers ever made, and others say they're just...well...dated. Can anyone describe how they sound?
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
