There is just no way that the driver is operating as a " rigid piston " over all of its range , especially with a first order crossover in a two way design !
And all the Marble Cabinets and Technobabble in the world unfortunately cant change the laws of physcics.
Be that as it may , if the breakup modes are well controlled , it can sound ok.
Very few speakers operate truly pistonically , and most are 3 ways.
