My apologies David,
I was not attacking anything you said. I'm sorry if it seemed that way. I have been around this industry long enough to have grown a thick skin, but the charges this Campy fellow (whoever he is) I could not let go by, as he first accused us (me) of lying about a major aspect of our products. When I gave him a some respectful feedback about how he was either mistaken or had received some poor advice about speaker design, along with links to some technical writings of mine posted elsewhere, he ignored all that and continued with the accusations.The my way/highway thing- it was clear that you were just pointing that out. I'm sorry you took my response personally- I did not intend that.
About me answering your post for Brian- this is a public forum, and some of your information needed a little clarification, before this subject of time coherence became more confused. I also knew Brian's post would appear above mine.
Again, my apologies if I offended you. I have no expectation of you agreeing with me. If you re-read my post, you will see I was sharing some accepted info about filter behaviour, info which you clearly did not quite understand, so that others, and perhaps you too, can understand this complicated subject better.
