Campy-
There is not one sentence you wrote above that you can support mathematically, or via measurement. Why are you making such clearly unsupportable claims? No matter what your background- you are dead wrong in your assertations- sorry! For the others reading along- refer to my postings on Audiogon (do a "Green Mountain" search) and you will see that I do not make unsubstantiated claims- just as in my response to campy's first remarks the other day, here:
http://www.audioasylum.com/scripts/t.pl?f=speakers&m=131774
And yes, campy, I have read all the papers and actually verified all their math, including that of Mr. Linkwitz, and performed all the measurements, anechoic and otherwise, and done all the building, and aced all the graduate physics courses to know that what you are saying is crap. So pick a fight somewhere else, since you are obviously in no mood to understand the science of speaker design.
Of course you could actually try to prove your assertations... but something tells me that is not what you are about. Is someone putting you up to this, to bring me and others down to some low level of spatting?
Good luck in your future endeavors.
