I actually haven't met a 2A3 I didn't like, from the cheap Chinese bi-plates of the 90s, to NOS Westinghouse or RCA tubes, to the JJ 2A3-40s which at the time I bought them were the most expensive pair of tubed I'd ever bought.
The 2A3 is hard to go wrong with, it's good sounding and very long lasting.
