RE: Doing SET Backwards

This seems to be T-K's hot topic at the moment. Thing is, many of us don't prioritise full efficiency and/or power-handling at 20Hz, and we know it. Surprise, nor do many peeps who own more conventional systems.

When running tones, by my ears, my weak little SET amp driving big drivers in big boxes in my room get me close to full efficiency in the mid-20s... let's say low 30s. Hell I'd probably be happy with high 30s. Yeah, my drivers will hit their xmax with enough power, but that will be well above the power I intend to use. Bass in my world is good (for me) - certainly good enough.
