...those being the Serenity Super-7s.
(Photo by GR research.)
At 97dB sensitivity and with no moving-coil drivers connected to one's poweramps, they're a bit more suited to my 8-Watts-per-chassis Frankensteins.They're in Albuquerque, about 6-1/2 hours east of Phoenix, all set-up and waiting for me. Oh boy!
And before someone accuses me of being a shill:
1. I've never met Danny Richey, the owner of GR Research, builder of the Serenity speakers, nor have I even spoken to him;
2. I have NO financial interest in GR;
3. I'll have to buy them just like everyone else.BUT...
1. They came highly recommended by Sonic Craft's Jeffrey Glowacki, which is the FIRST time in the years I've known him that he has recommended specific equipment; and
2. They're built with 5 (four Neo10s and one Neo3) B-G mag-planar drivers, which I've heard and generally very much liked the sounds of.
Here's one of my now-much-better-sounding Audio Physic Avantii IIIs with a B-G Neo3PDR tweeter...
...that replaced the 1" ring radiators...
...that they came with.
