So yes, that is a 1st-to-2nd-stage coupling cap, and it's 'propylene and foil and NOT "The Finest Teflon cap"...and there are no Teflon caps in the amps.

Mr. Blume: "The 2.2 mfd cap you noted is a cathode bypass."

Also, my amps have only an 8-Ohm output tap and not 16 Ohms too. Mr. Blume: "This was done since we no longer offer speakers that are 16 ohm and very few of our buyers own such speakers."

I suggested he update his site to describe what he's selling.
