Does the cap go to ground? and/or does the tap signal continue to the up stream sections?

It is either more B+ smoothing or feedback similar to UL or global NF.

My first re-build was a 1963 Zenith SEP EL84 amp. It had loads of feedback and strange connections that I had to use the schematic to ID. I gutted the amp and started over...
