If I were going to build a 2a3 SE amp, 3k primaries would be my choice. If I were experimenting it's a different ball game.
LL1664 (3k primaries) would be my pick for a build,
LL1620 (3.3, 6 or 11.5 K primaries) would be my pick to experiment

I have been very happy with the Lundahl offering. The only down side is you need to hide em under the chassis or shovel out more cash for a nice cover.
