so please tell me where I am going wrong. But all I see is a very special output tube biasing scheme that uses the input tube filaments as substitute cathode resistors. As any ac seems to be filtered out, we are dealing strictly with dc here. Unless ac is feed back, this does not constitute positive feedback which of course involves the ac component not the dc component. In fact, the modifier states that providing a separate biasing circuit improves the performance of these designs.
