I just replaced my old KR300BXLS (2004) with new (2009) and I have to agree with your post. The best sound yet from my mono blocks.
The bass is unbelievably tight yet musical and it extends deeper than my high powered solid-state amplifiers.
Of course the mid range is pure gold but I am also impressed with the extension of the highs. My sound-stage has widened and heightened considerably.
KRs rule and are worth every penny.
