Point to point is the only way to build a dependable and sonically pure amplifier. Printed boards were developed to make assembly quicker, easier and much cheaper.
Physical isolation of components is essential and makes for much easier trouble-shooting
and replacement of caps and resistors as the amplifier ages. Point to point wiring also holds up better during shipping by bone-heads who tend to drop cartons instead of laying them down gently. A solid silver buss bar will always outperform a copper strip for a ground.
