I am new to SET and OB stuff but I can assure you in all honesty that the 604 OB's are very good. I tried PP EL34(Dynaco), and some SS amp before the 2A3 and I was not disappointed although the SET sounds so much better.
See the last pic I posted? On the right side you will notice a Linkwitz Orions Plus gathering dust.
