Assuming they come with the standard set of valves from the factory, you should be able to use them out of the box.I immediately upgraded to SuperTNT 845B with success. I now have SuperTNT 845M and they are much better.
The 6SN7 as standard is OK, but it is worth seeking out a Phillips NOS from Watford Valves for each monoblock. They also do excellent replacements for the other valves, the 12AU7 and (if my wife gets them for me for Christmas) cryogenically treated 12AX7s.
Don't worry about biasing the valves. I think I am right in saying that any direct equivalent can be dropped in - at least that is my experience.
I have posted several times on my experience with the Ming Da Pre- amp and monoblocks. Have a look at those previous posts for more detail.
After replacing all the valves with better quality ones, you will have a seriously compelling amplifier, which will also heat your room - great for these winter nights, but not so good in a hot summer!
How was the buying experience from this firm - I assume they are the one with a service facility in Sheffield?
