Thanks for the response, Mike...you do have alot of experience with both BEZ products, so it should be interesting for you to find out what differences there are concerning the replacement of different caps and such. I am not electrically inclined, so any DIY mods are strictly out of the question for me (I don't know which end of a soldering iron to hold onto)! Therefor, tube rolling will be the extent of my changing of the sonic signature for both BEZ Q4B and T3B components.

I think I chose wisely for the preamp's tube replacements; should be an interesting audition. Did you refer to the usual ST-shaped TJ 300B, or the balloon-shaped mesh anode globes? My first replacement will probably be the 6K7G radio tubes for either the 6J7G or EF37A equivalents. In any event, I will listen to the stock Chinese tubes which comes with the amp and see just how well they do sound in my audio system.
