I have owned 4 JK and 3 JH amplifiers. I would go with the Jeff Korneff 45 for a few reasons. 1st is build quality John Hogans amps while very musical are not built to the level Jeffs are. 2nd Noise floor The Jeff K will have a lower noise floor.3rd The Jeff K will have a bit less bass distortion. The John Hogan has a wee bit better hi frequincy a bit more fullness to mids, bass isnt as tight. Both are good maybe do what I did try them all.
