Hi,

I need to replace some Sophia 300B Meshplates in my Electra-Print 300DRD amps. These are the original globe Meshies with black base.

I have been hearing good things about the Shugaung tubes. Anyone care todescribe their performance? How has reliability been? In the off chance, has anyone had a chance to compare them against a few other tubes?

I have a pair of JJ/Tesla in the house. Very dark and recessed in my amps. Also have two versions of the Electro-Harmonix 300B. The Gold version is quite nice, but lacks the stunning clarity that the Sophia has.

So your thoughts and opinions are valued. Also, who is a good source for them?
